Washington Beaches and Ports offer the most breath stopping views and excitement for any age! To the Left is the Washington State ferry system map. The perfect Washington Beaches and Ports trip includes VIC and VAN and San Jaun Islands. As you can see there are many ways to do this trip right!
Washington State Ferries leave from Anacortes, 90 miles north of Seattle through the San Juan Islands to Sidney B.C. Once daily in the fall and spring and twice daily in the summer months, the scenic crossing takes about 3 hours. We take vehicles, buses or motor homes and passengers. Vehicle reservations are recommended and may be made online or by phone (206) 464-6400 Seattle, toll free in state 1-888-808-7977.

British Columbia Ferries sails from Vancouver, B.C. through the Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay, 20 miles north of Victoria. There are several departures throughout the day and reservations are available.

Blackball Transport, Inc. travels from Port Angeles, WA to downtown Victoria, B.C. This routes links the Olympic Peninsula and Vancouver Island together. Reservations are available.

If you prefer the Puget Sound route. In Seattle take the Ferry to Bremerton or Bainbridge Island, take highway 3 to 104 which intersects with 101 to Port Angeles to ferry to Victoria BC. From Victoria travel to Sidney and board the San Jaun Islands ferry. Purchase a one time ticket to Anacortes and enjoy the Islands at your leisure. In Anacortes, head east to I-5 and travel south to Olympia Wa.. Head west from Olympia to following signs to Ocean shores.
 
If you prefer the Pacific Coast route. From Oregon Crossing the Megler Bridge in Astoria Oregon (See below). Enjoy the famous Port of Ilwaco and the Long Beach Peninsula. Head East to Naselle then west again to follow the Pacific shore line through Aberdeen, the GATEWAY OF THE OLYMPIC PENINSUL and North to Port Angeles. From Port Angeles hop the Back Ball to Victoria, or book walk on excursions to the San Jauns.
